Powerful and a milestone presentation which as a nation we must all listen and adhere to what Prof. Mutambara said regarding AI. Zimbabwe has been left behind during the past industrial revolutions due to political and economic instability and its high time the second republic boost the economy by introducing the 4IR policies by transforming and boosting the Zimbabwe Industrial Revolution. 4IR will not only change what we do but who we are.

A thriving eco-system of Academia, Venture Capital, Enterprise and sound govt policies is needed for a rich tech scene. Tech companies flourish from a concoction of research, capital markets, ambitious entrepreneurs, and supporting govt policies.

First get the basics right...clean potable water for all, reliable baseload electicity and no potholes. Its laughable to talk of "artificial intelligence" when there is an intelligence deficit with our political class.

Great presentation! Reminded of the UZ days when you were President of the Students Union, and we brainstormed and strategized as we presented cases of mutual interest to the Council, Chaired then by the late Dr Utete (MHSRP), while I served as Chair for University Teachers Association (UTA). On religion and science, my belief is that God is the greatest scientist/creator, and our discoveries are simply further strides towards discovering the mysteries of God. The science of human creation is the greatest. Prof. Mike Mbizvo
